Band Announcement

Oh, I'm so excited about this one.

Making her third (I think) appearance at the Kansas City Irish Fest this year, one of my absolute all-time favorite musicians, performers and people: the great Eileen Ivers and her equally great band Immigrant Soul.

My affection for Eileen is well known (ask the long-suffering Mrs. Bloggy) and it's not just because she's one of the finest folks I've met in my long years in this business. If there's a band that puts on a consistently better, more entertaining live show,  I don't know who they are. Eileen and her band play every single set like they're having the time of their lives. And when she takes her iconic blue fiddle into the crowd...well, that's magic.

Welcome back Eileen, Tommy, and all the band. Can't wait.
