I forgot to tell you good people that our KC Irish Fest stint during the KCUR FM spring pledge drive was a HUGE success on Sunday last. We surpassed our financial goal for the hour by almost 40% and signed up 17 new members against a goal of 3. Ed and Barbara Scanlon, Kevin Bundy and some other guy did your Irish Fest proud as on-air pitchers, as did you if you called in a pledge. Thanks to Irish Festers Carrie Slattery, Cami Travis Groves, Ron Einbender, Carol Braun, Seamus Walsh and everybody else who helped us and public radio in Kansas City reach our goal.
