Tomorrow (Friday March 25th) is the last day for the Virtual Food Drive competition, sponsored by the KC St. Patrick's Day Parade committee. And being the competitive festival we are (did we mention our award-winning float entry this year?) KCIF is woefully low in the standings.
Every dollar donated is converted by the awesome folks at Harvesters into 5 meals. That's FIVE meals - we couldn't feed five people with 5 dollars!
This is an excellent way to celebrate your Irish, support the Kansas City community and do something amazing for a lot of people.
