Today being the first Friday of lent, you'll be wanting to drop that cheeseburger, Paddy. Instead, grab the spouse and kids, friends and neighbors and head to Redemptorist for the A.O.H. Padraig Pearse Division #1 Lenten shrimp dinner.

Every Friday in Lent beginning tonight, all you can eat of the best shrimp in town.

All dinners to be held at John J. Sullivan Hall at my old alma mater, Redemptorist, 211 W. Linwood Blvd, just east of Broadway. 5 PM to 8 PM. Adults $15.00, kids 6-12, $7.00, kids 5-0 are free. Boiled shrimp, Idaho new red potatoes, coleslaw, corn on the cob, dessert...hungry yet?
