Band Announcement, 3/4

Last year we debuted the new Park Stage, so named because it's by the entrance to where people park their cars. No, that's not right. It's in a park, a verdant island of grass and tress amongst the acres of asphalt. We put a special kind of music on the Park Stage. No electric guitars there. No drum kits. That stuff is great, don't get me wrong. But it doesn't seem park-like.

You know who fit beautifully into our park vision? The Bachands. So we invited them back. Yay!

Quinn and Qristina Bachand hail from the also very park-like Victoria, British Columbia and their skill and stage presence belie their tender years. If you caught one of their sets you know what I mean. If you didn't, click that sample below. No wonder they won the Irish Music Association award for Top Traditional Group in Festival, Pub and Concert.
