It occurs to me that even with two announcements today I'll only be up to Monday and here it is Tuesday. But that's okay because I have a plan. Stay with me here, the plan is kinda complicated.
Tomorrow we'll do two more.
But not just any two. I'm going to declare tomorrow, St. Patrick's Eve, Comedy Day here at Band Announcement Central. So tomorrow you'll meet not one but two comedians who will be appearing on our comedy stage this year at the KC Irish Fest.
Anyway, The Elders.
If you're a Cowtown resident, you're more than likely an Elders fan. But unless you're an industry insider like moi, you might not know how huge our local lads are in the world of Irish festivals and Celtic rock, and how lucky we are to have them. Further, I challenge you to find a more electrifying moment in entertainment than when the Elders take the stage on Irish Fest Sunday night here on their home turf. There's nothing like it anywhere. I say all this because I do not want you to take this band announcement or this band for Irish Fest granted. These boys are a big deal. Count your blessings.
