Band Announcement, 3/13

Trying to catch up here, so today's a twofer. This is number one.

I'll tell you, this is tough, this band-announcement-a-day business. Most days I can put any sort of nonsensical shite up here because what the hell, nobody pays attention anyway. Mid-January I could post my gas bill and I bet not one person would complain. But this time of year when every other Tomás, Risteard and Gruagach* is Irish, traffic here at Tir na Blog spikes like drink orders at closing time. Add to that parade float designing, building and coordinating and my day job as a male model? That's pressure, man. A lesser man might crack. A lesser man might quit. I am not a lesser man.

Anyway, McPeake.

Whoa, can that be right? Northern Ireland's most famous, most legendary musical clan, the band who slayed SLAYED at Irish Fest last year, back for an encore? Yes sir. And we're mighty excited about it. You might say that this is traditional music at its "Mc-Peak". But more likely you'd say "shut the hell up and give us a Mc-Peek." Done and done.
