In addition to this being Earth Day (see below) it's also Take Your Kid To Work Day, which I love because it's about time my lazy kids did some of my work and let me concentrate on playing on-line solitaire, drinking and napping. So yes, I'll be bringing all three of my kids–including three and a half week old Kate–into Irish Fest HQ to give old Papa a hand today. And they'd better do a good job if they know what's good for them, or I won't take them to the big Earth Day monster truck rally out at the speedway tonight.
Kate will be working on this year's volunteer t-shirt designs today. I'd advise you you to keep expectations low since she can't even work her hands yet.

I have to say, I'm very disappointed in you people. I hang a big, fat curve ball right over the plate and it takes until almost 4:00 PM for somebody to swing at it?? Let's pick it up a little, folks. Yes, and I'm talking to you too, McCarthy.
I don't know....I think she is pretty good at working ehr hands....she did a good job wacking herself in the forehead the other night! :)
