The Good Kind Of Winter Storm

I'm going to beat my friend Dr. Henry Spangler to the punch here by reminding you–without Dr. Spangler reminding me– to get your tickets now for the annual Winter Storm weekend events and concert, coming up January 15-17.
Winter Storm 2010 - The Pipes & Drums Concert, is the ninth in the series and will once again be held in the acoustically ideal and Frank Lloyd Wright-designed COMMUNITY CHRISTIAN CHURCH. The concert will feature an international, all Gold-Medal line-up of the World's Best Highland Bagpipers and Champion Scottish Drummers, from Scotland, Canada, and the United States.
Special Guest performers will be The Kansas City Highland Dancers, and the Champions of the 2010 Midwest Highland Arts Fund Gold and Silver Medal Piping and the Gold Medal Snare, Tenor, and Bass Drumming competitions held in Kansas City.
The concert's Master of Ceremonies, "The Captain" Ken Eller, an acclaimed piper in his own right, is Piping's Ambassador to the World. Internationally known piping adjudicator, former Pipe Major of Clan MacFarlane Pipe Band, and piper with Ontario's 78th Fraser Highlanders, Ken's wit, charm, and piping knowledge perfectly fit the Winter Storm Concert."
The concert is Saturday, January 16, 2010, 7:15 pm at the Community Christian Church
4601 Main, Kansas City, Missouri. General Admission, doors open at 6:00 pm. Adult tickets are $30.00, Children under 12 are $15.00, Children under age 5 are free. All the details and tickets are to be found here.

Proud of me, Dr. Spangler?
