So Now What?

Hard to believe it was a week ago that we started building Irish Fest. Crown Center now looks like we were never there. And with the demise of Oktoberfest, the festival season would appear to be about over at our downtown home.

But fear not. The great Weston Irish Fest is still to come. With a great line up including the Elders, 7 Nations, Screaming Orphans (do NOT miss that band), Searson and tons more it's the perfect last hooley before the snow flies. October 9, 10 and 11 just up the road and on the river.

And of course, the Kansas City Irish Fest presents Halfway To St. Pat's at The K when the Royals (three wins in a row!) take on some team from Massachusetts. That happens on the 21st with Irish food, a pregame concert and the National Anthem by the Elders and...ugh...green beer. They didn't consult us on that one. Get tickets here and get there early to nab you one of those cool caps I told you about.

Pumpkin Patch Festival is at Crown Center to benefit TLC on Oct 10 from 10 - 5 PM...a mini festival!

I stand corrected. Thanks!

While I'm not so partial to the green beer myself, they tend to just add the food coloring as they are pouring. Last year the beertenders were nice enough to leave it out, if you asked.

But it does give your teeth that nice green zombie look - just in time for holloween! Good times.
