As one of my seven siblings pointed out to me, today is Siblings Day, which in spite of my employ by a major greeting card concern, is not a holiday I made up.
I, like many of the Irish Fest staff, come with a gansey-load of siblings, including-last time I checked-Terry, Carol, Timmy, Amy, Becky, Peggy, Jenny and Patrick. There may be a few more knocking around somewhere. Most of those who live here in Kansas City or nearby work on Irish Fest with me and all have attended in the past and done their best to make a dent in our beer supplies. And to a man (or more often, to a woman) they're the best people I know and the best friends I have.
So if you have siblings - and if you're of Irish and/or Catholic derivation I bet you do - drop them a line today and wish them a happy Siblings Day. And while you have their attention, why not start planning that family reunion at this year's Kansas City Irish Fest? Space is crazy limited, so contact one of our reunion coordinators today.
They happen to be three of my siblings, by the way.

Why your not such a bad guy yourself, brother Danny. From your sibling down south to all of the rest of you Regan sibs, happy sibling day......we can start fighting again tomorrow! jenerator
Can we start right at midnight?
As one who is very limited on sibs, can I borrow a few of yours?
Since your mom agreed to adopt me as "another daughter...oh sure, what's one more?", I now have siblings, kinda. So, happy Siblings Day, kinda siblings!
Cami (the otherwise mostly sibling-less kinda-sibling -- the one you wish would quietly go away)
