Where To Volunteer, Part 9

We've been through a whole bunch of various volunteer opportunities these past few days and I hope you've found a home here at the 2008 edition of the Kansas City Irish Fest. But some of you I know, have not. And I know who you are.

You're the rebels. The spontaneous. The devil-may-care, the throw-caution-to-the-wind risk takers. Predictability? Not for you. You live life out loud, like a character in a Mountain Dew commercial. All these "rules" and "job descriptions"? No way. You want to roll the dice and take your shot, with the that "Eye Of The Tiger" song from Rocky playing in the background. For you, there's only one choice:

Area Of Greatest Need

This is so off the hook, there's not even a box to check, dude. Just type that phrase into the comments box at the bottom of the volunteer sign up form and let Daneil and Mike know that you cannot be contained by categories. You cannot be fenced in. You'll need to check one of the boxes so the form goes through - you know because of "The Man" - but you write in Area Of Greatest Need and we'll ignore what ever ordinary job you've indicated and put you wherever the fest is calling out for your special brand of awesome during the time slot you've indicated. You can also indicate any physical limitations or other details you think we should know about, you know, if that's how you roll.

So before you put your leather-jacketed bad self on to your hog and roar off down the avenue to meet whatever challenges the day presents, take a minute to fill out that form and write in Area Of Greatest Need in the comments box. We'll do the rest.

Rock on, man.
