Tomorrow night in the Tap Room at Waldo Pizza in, uh, Waldo, the good people at the St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee will gather to announce the 2008 Grand Marshal of the big downtown parade. If the suspense is killing you as it is me, you can be part of the festivities and kick off your holiday season early with the paraders.
The identity of the G.M. is a closely guarded secret that not even I, with my powers of persuasion and offers to buy beers have been able to pry out of the organizers. These guys are good.
The party starts at 8:00. Waldo Pizza is at 7433 Broadway, just east of Wornall Road.
