Splish Splash

Some much needed R&R was indulged in over the weekend by the Irish Fest staff, in and around the swimming pool at the home of children's area coordinator Shawn Sullivan Warner. It was a great chance to take a break from the frenetic pace of preparations and enjoy the friendships that make this planning committee so much fun to be part of. The food, the pool volleyball, and the cold beer made for a very pleasant afternoon, marred only by several Festers suffering temporary eye strain brought on by the bright white glare off swimsuit-clad president Ed Scanlon's pale Irish torso. All are expected to recover fully in time for Irish Fest's opening.

Sincere thanks to Shawn and Mark for a fantastic time.

Thank you, but the day was about fun, and how can we go wrong with a great group like the Irish Fest Team? Shawn

Thanks so much for your wonderful hosptality and retrieving drinks for the less than perfectly healed staff.
