We're in the home stretch now, boy. Kansas City Irish Fest Version 5.0 kicks off in just 11 days. When you get here to beautiful Crown Center, make sure over the course of the weekend to visit the plethora of local Irish organizations that will be assembled on the grounds. Kansas City has a large and active chunk of the Irish diaspora and a group or club to fit any member of same. From the venerable Ancient Order of Hibernians to the Celtic Fringe, the Harp and Shamrock Club to the Daughters of Erin, if you have even a drop of the Gael in your blood, you'll find a group of kindred spirits ready to welcome you into their ranks.
You'll be able to pick up membership information and merchandise from a number of Kansas City's local green gangs all conveniently located in a neat row, on the Terrace Level all weekend long.
