Grateful Docs

From the "Personality Parade" column in Parade magazine in the Kansas City Star from Sunday February 25th, this timely tidbit about our just-announced Sunday night Kansas City Irish Fest headliners:
Q: Has any rock band duplicated the Grateful Dead's fanatical fan base?

A: No. But Phish came close, and the Saw Doctors-a talented Irish Folk-rock band-have been building a fan base with a similar word-of-moth approach. "We're kind of alternative and outside the media," songwriter Leo Moran tells us, "and a lot of our fans follow us when we tour."
We have no doubt whatsover that the Irish Fest grounds will be teeming with fanatical Docs' fans...many of us wearing staff T-shirts. And by the way...booked that hotel room yet?
