One of the best things about St. Patrick's Day is eating breakfast. We're blessed in Kansas City with multiple options for a big Irish fry, including McCormick and Schmick's offering hosted by Chef Molloy and the venerable and tasty plate served up at Irish Central, Browne's Market and Deli.
But let's suppose you're not in the mood for a big steaming plate of eggs and meat. Lets pretend that you don't want to see black pudding snuggled up next to a fat slice of tomato first thing in the morning. Where to go?
Easy. Eddie.
Eddie Delahunt at Cafe & will be open and serving Saturday morning at 7:00, with the best coffee and tea in town and a variety of pastries, rolls and danish. And in a rare treat, for St. Patrick's day Eddie offers freshly baked "Sin-a-Man" rolls, prepared by me own sister Becky. I grew up on these things, which is why I weigh 347 pounds today. They're worth the trip, wherever you are. They are at Cafe &, 45th and State Line.
Oh yeah. Eddie's place is also the only place you'll hear Eddie Delahunt perform on St. Patrick's day at breakfast time. You won't be able to avoid him the rest of the day. He's everywhere. I think he's scheduled to play at my house from 4:30 to 5:15.

To beat the crowds, I'm coming to your house!!
To say that you "grew up" on my cinnamon rolls implies that: A. I am MUCH older than you and B. That you did in fact, grow up.
Please retract.
Love, Beck
