Irish Festers abound in the morning paper today...not a huge surprise this time of year I suppose.
Irish Fest entertainment giant and all around raconteur Eddie Delahunt gets the Hearne Christopher treatment. Gossip columnist Christopher, who in his column about Eddie uses the phrases "lucky-charmed", "that big pot of blarney in the sky" and "the green reaper" should really consider getting a job. Fair play to Eddie for the ink, though. No better man.
And "Ed Said" author Ed Scanlon is quoted in a story about the joys of Irish whiskey, along with Irish Fest grant advisory board member Bob Fitzgerald. I have sipped uisce beatha with both of those fine fellas and can vouch for the fact that they know their stuff. More importantly, they share it.
And as you plan your media week, the Irish Fest board of directors will welcome Fox 4 reporter Kathy Quinn to our biweekly meeting on Friday morning. If you're up early, you might get a glimpse into the messy inner workings of Irish Fest leadership. I'd advise not eating first. It's not pretty.

I saw the article in the newspaper. Tyrconnell and Knappogue are not very good. Who wants an Irish whiskey (Michael Collins) to taste like scotch?
Tullamore Dew and Red Breast are very good both are very smoothe.......
I wanted to make a comment about Fitz and Ed but I don't think the blog God would print it!
Try me.
Someone told me that the Knappogue ofended Fitz's pallet enough to pour it down the sink. I'm very partial to Red Breast and even Paddy's when it is available. I also hear that Scanlon guy and Fitzgerald can drink Irish whiskey till their wives are ready to nail them to the cross. They must be sainted by now.
