An Irish Fest prez, name of Ed
Had some thoughts rattlin' round in his head
Things he thought you should know
So it seems apropos
To publish a brand new "Ed Said":

"I guess my mother was correct. 'No good deed goes unpunished'. Yep it has happened being a kind Poppy, I spent my Saturday with my lovely granddaughters, Kelsey and Erin Scanlon. Their mom and dad were tied up and the girls had a birthday party to attend. So old Poppy took the girls to the party and spent the rest of the afternoon playing with them. That was while all of my Fest Friends were float building and post float build planning meeting at the pub. I live for those Saturdays. So you are asking yourself how can spending time with those lovely little ladies be punishment...it most certainly is not. While I was absent my festival "friends" drafted yours truly to play a comic role on the float for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. So show up this Saturday and perhaps I'll be modeling my new parade boxers. So show up or maybe you will get an "mission" assigned to you."
