Hey Kids!

You good-for-nothing kids today...why, when I was your age, we didn't get any special deadline extensions for our Irish Fest story contests. We had one day, maybe less, to write our stories! And we didn't have any of these fancy "computers" or "printers" or "paper"! We wrote with rocks! On other rocks! And we had to write in the dark, after working in the fields all day! And it was dark then too!

But no, that's not good enough for you kids. No, you get more time to finish your stories! Six whole days more! But that's it. No more extensions after that. Get your stories in by July 20th and you might win a professionally done, one of a kind illustration based on your story. You know what we won for an Irish Fest story contest back in my day? Rocks, that what! And we were happy to get them!

All the details on our Irish Story Contest are here.

Lazy punks...

That's nothing. When I was a kid, writing my story after working in the fields all day, not only was it dark, but it was snowing!

(Wait. No, that was when I accidentally locked myself in the deepfreeze. Never mind.)
