Hey Kids, Again!

Have done your artwork for our Irish Fest quilt yet?

Well, don't forget. It's due by August 15 if you want to win a prize. I know you're all very busy, what with not going to school and not having jobs and not having a care in the world and all.

The theme of your art is MY IRELAND. That is to say "your Ireland", not mine. I mean, how would you know what "my Ireland" is? You wouldn't, 'cause you're just a kid. Besides, who wants to see a quilt about "Danny's Ireland"? C'mon kid, use your head.

The picture should depict what Ireland means to the artist. That's you. The size should be no larger than 8 inches x 5 inches. That's the size of the artwork, not you. Although if you're that size, you're a leprechaun and that's pretty cool. Artwork will be on display at this years Fest (although the quilt will not be completed until after the Fest)

The best art in each age group (Age Groups: 4 – 6, 7 – 9, 10 -13, 14 – 17) wins free tickets to this year's Irish Fest and we will be announcing the 2006 winners on August 18, 2006. If you turn in a great piece of art after that or make one at Irish Fest, you might win tickets to the 2007 Fest.

So come on! Start arting! Click here for all the important details.
