That Something New I Promised You

Happy Friday! Remember when I told you that there'd be a new something on the Kansas City Irish Fest website and asked if you could guess what it was? Did you guess? Did you think maybe it was a video game where you see how much virtual black pudding you can eat? Or a funny cartoon, or a picture of a fluffy kitten? Then you were wrong.

Guess no more. Starting today, you can go the Entertainment page and if you'll scroll down to the bottom of the page there, you can now hear samples from most of the great acts who will grace our stages at Irish Fest this year. More will be added soon, and the selections will be updated regularly, so be sure and check back often. And if you hear something you like, chances are you can click on the link to that band or musician's website above in the schedule section and buy yourself a CD. You deserve it, as hard as you work!

Those same samples can also be found on the Media page. Happy listening.

This is a definite treat! Thanks for all of the hard work. If these samples don't make you want to go to Irish Fest, nothing will. Keep up the good work.

The music sample for Hothouse works for me, and for my technical advisor Tommy on his home computer. I can't imagine why it would send you to their website.

Holy Cow that is so cool! I totally just sat here for the last 30 minutes(at least) listening to all the samples....it was kind of like having my own little Irish Fest mix tape. Well if people still made mix tapes...its a shame though, a mix cd just does not have the same romantic ring to it. :-)

Weird, I didn't have that problem with the Hothouse link....got to love modern technology...
