Remember when I encouraged you to go vote for 2006 Irish Fest performer Amanda Kapousouz, aka the Tin Cup Prophette, as she competed for the Album of The Year prize in the (Athens, GA) Flagpole Music Awards?

Well, she didn't win. Some band called "Modern Skirts" won. I suspect corruption at the highest levels of the Flagpole and I'm calling for a congressional inquiry to investigate obvious fraud, hanging chads, and the possible involvement of Katherine Harris in his travesty of justice.

And I vow that "Modern Skirts", whoever they are, will never play The Kansas City Irish Fest on my watch.
