Another TBA bites the dust. The Minnesota based duo known as 5 Mile Chase has been slotted to fill the 11:30 Sunday spot on the Boulevard Pub Stage. Fiddle player Django Amerson and guitarist/singer Brian Miller make up said duo, and according to their website, by "melding Irish traditional jigs, reels and songs with 21st century musicianship they make a sound that uses its firm traditional base as a launch-pad for tight knit grooves and thoughtful expression." That my friends, is an impressive sentence. Come see if they live up to it, Sunday September 3rd on the Pub Stage at the Kansas City Irish Fest.
