Some exciting news today from our good pal and Irish music legend Eddie Delahunt. He has just inked a deal to open his own coffee shop. The place, which will be known appropriately enough as "Eddie Delahunt's Cafe" will occupy the space at 1811 W.45th Street & State Line in that fancy-pants antique district...the perfect place for an antique like himself.Eddie hopes to be open by June 1st just in time for the World Cup. The place is reported to have some great outdoor seating areas and it sounds like it will become a great new venue for live music in Kansas City.
When asked about the bill of fare, Eddie says, "I'm importing ditchwater from the 32 counties of Ireland for a special customized blend of the county of everyone's dear ancestors, or I'll just boil the water!!"
Fair play to you Eddie! Congratulations.
