Larry Kirwan of Black 47 sent us this link to some video of his great band. Check it out for a preview of what we're lucky enough to have coming to Kansas City this September.
Larry may not remember this, but way back in the old days we had Black 47 perform at what was then the Brookside Irish Fest. He made what some of us at the time felt was a slightly overly optimistic prediction. He declared that within 5 years we'd be one of the biggest Irish festivals in the country.
Smart guy, that Larry.
