Hup ou' dat!

In case you've forgotten, and shame on you if you did, our old friend Máirtín de Cógáin of The Fuchsia Band is in town, looking fit as a fiddle, and will doing a solo performance (though rumor has it a special guest or two may come along for a tune or two) this very Friday, March 31st at 8:00 p.m. at the Oak Street Coffee House, 6221 Oak Street. The show is presented by the Missouri Valley Folklife Society. Tickets are $10 and available only at the door. It's apparently a small venue, so come early. If you saw Máirtín at KCIF 2005 (and you could hardly miss him!) you know that he's the consumate entertainer. For more information, dial 816-444-0731.

And in the meantime...you can also catch Máirtín live on KKFI, Community Radio, 90.1 FM tomorrow (Wednesday) morning at 6:00 AM.
