The profile of the Wild Clover Band has been posted on the Irishfest website. If you missed their appearance at the Cottonwood Festival in Hastings, Nebraska, a couple of weeks ago, you can catch them most Thursday nights through the summer at Cunningham's Courtyard in Kearney, Nebraska.
Accepted into the Nebraska Art Council's roster for the Nebraska Touring Program in 2004, the Wild Clover Band features Dave Klein, who was selected the "1999 Teacher of the Year" by the Nebraska Chapter of American String Teachers Association.
And while you're waiting to see if their third CD comes out in time for the KC Irish Festival, go visit their website and their discography section where you can read notes about how songs got put on their second CD, "One Token Irish Man". Of course you can order the CD also, along with their first CD, 2002's "Songs Sailors Have Sung".
