Samhain At The Center

If you want your Halloween celebration on the Irish side, stay home tonight and plan your celecration for tomorrow at The Kansas City Irish Center in historic Union Station:

As the days grow shorter and Fall is definitely in the air, join us as we celebrate the traditional Celtic holiday of Samhain (pronounced sow-en), where many Halloween traditions originated. We had our first Samhain celebration last year, and it was such a big hit we’re doing it again! So join us for good music – traditional tunes will be provided by favorite Irish balladeer Bob Reeder – food and drink. Admission is just $5; food and beverages available for purchase. Thursday, November 1 6-9pm

Sound like a good time to me. The Irish Center is right where you left it in the lower level of Union Station. Call them for more info at 816-474-3848.
