If you want your Halloween celebration on the Irish side, stay home tonight and plan your celecration for tomorrow at The Kansas City Irish Center in historic Union Station:
As the days grow shorter and Fall is definitely in the air, join us as we celebrate the traditional Celtic holiday of Samhain (pronounced sow-en), where many Halloween traditions originated. We had our first Samhain celebration last year, and it was such a big hit we’re doing it again! So join us for good music – traditional tunes will be provided by favorite Irish balladeer Bob Reeder – food and drink. Admission is just $5; food and beverages available for purchase.
Thursday, November 1
6-9pm
Sound like a good time to me. The Irish Center is right where you left it in the lower level of Union Station. Call them for more info at 816-474-3848.
