We are very honored indeed to be joined at the 10th anniversary fest this weekend by two distinguished representatives of the Irish government.
Shane McEntee, TD is the Minister of State at the Dept. of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. He is a Fine Gael member of the Oireachtas (Irish Parliament) for the Meath East constituency. He was born in County Meath and still lives there, was formerly a farmer and agricultural sales representative. Has also been very involved in the Gaelic Athletic Association, and is a brother of Gerry McEntee, the All Ireland winning Meath footballer.
John V. Farrelly, known in Meath politics as simply "John V" is a Meath County Councillor and official of County Meath Tourism. He is a Fine Gael politician as well, and is a former TD (twice) and a former member of Seanad Eireann. He is also an auctioneer (real estate agent).
I hope you'll join me in welcoming them both to Kansas City.

So neat to have such distinguished visitors this weekend! Will either of them be giving a talk/Q&A session? I'd love to hear about Mr. McEntee's experiences in the current Irish agricultural scene, especially.
This is so cool. Fair play to ya KCIF, & welcome, Irish dignitaries!
