KC Irish Fest Technology and Electronic Gaming Committee co-chair Tommy Regan and I just had a quick lunch in the hotel pub here in Milwaukee, joined by KCIF Merch staff Harold and Ann Scott and Liz Neal. While we were finishing our sammies, 2012 KCIF performer Colin Grant of Sprag Session walked in with the bright green Kansas City Royals cap that I'd given him when he and the band played at the Irish Center WinterFest series perched on his noggin. He also said he planned on wearing a t-shirt from Armstrong's Irish Pub during a performance. Armstrong's, for those that may not have heard of it, is an exclusive, private Irish American club in KC that Colin has been known to frequent, as patron, entertainer and bartender.
The festivities kick off here at 4:00 PM. Happy Friday.
