Planning for the biggest Irish party to ever hit Cowtown are in full swing. I speak of course about the the 10th Anniversary Kansas City Irish Fest, coming up in just 275 days. Last night the stalwart Entertainment Committee (or the EC as we like to call ourselves) met to discuss and plan the best musical line up in our ten year history. It was dizzying, the names we were throwing around.
Who's on the list? I'm not going to tell you. Yet. I'm going to wait until you really need it, like in the dark cold days of February to start band announcements. Believe me, it'll be worth the wait.
In the meantime, let's leave behind a cold Wednesday morning and take a wee trip with the ghost of Irish Fest past. Back to a warm summer night in 2008, to be exact. See if this doesn't warm you up.
