You'd never know it by this Indian summer weather we're enjoying here in Cowtown but it is October and we are scant weeks away from cold temps and blowing snow. The season pleasant weather outdoor fun is coming to a close. But don't give up without a fight, 'cause we're not in parkas yet. The great Weston Irish Festival is coming up.
October 14, 15 and 16 in that quaint town on the bluffs of the Missouri, the annual autumnal affair brings great music, fun, food and drink. I wouldn't think of missing it and you shouldn't either. This year enjoy music by Screaming Orphans, Flannigan's Right Hook, Enter The Haggis, The Mickey Finns, Connacht Town, The Three Dollar Band, Barleyjuice, Bob Reeder, Eddie Delahunt, Tullamore, Reverse Cowboy, Connie Dover and of course The Elders. That is an impressive lineup, kids.
In a month when you're shoveling snow you're going to wish you'd gone to spend one more warm night listening to muisc outside. So I'll see you in Weston.
Get all the details you need right here.
