I don't want to say that Irish Fest is the best ethnic festival out there...though we were voted best ethnic festival in Kansas City. And I don't want to say that Irish festivals in general are superior to festivals celebrating other ethnic groups. And I don't want to say that Irish music is superior to that of any of our fellow earthlings. Let's not get all ethnocentric here. There's lots of great and interesting stuff out there and sure aren't we all God's wee little children.
But if you were going to, say the Kansas City Dutch Fest over Labor Day weekend instead of Irish Fest, you might see this gem, I came across recently:
