The temperature in Cowtown tomorrow is predicted to land at around 93 or so. So you need something cool to do. Don't go to the pool. Kids pee in those things. Movies? Too expensive. No, here's what you do. Dig $5 out of the couch cushions and head to the beautiful Rose Theater at Rockhurst High School for a performance by the O'Riada-McCarty-Manning Academy of Irish Dance.
The show, Saturday at 1:00 pm is just $5 at the door and features beginner to championship dancers demonstrating their competition and performance dances. This showcase is a fund raiser to help purchase new costumes for the Academy, so you'll not only be keeping cool and getting entertained, you'll be helping a good cause.
Rockhurst High School is at 93rd and State Line Road.
