Well...we're packed, followed all the instructions from the travel people, and are as excited as we can be about the trip. We'll be thinking of you all while we are there - NOT!
I had forgotten that flight preparations included taking aspirin so we did that and anticipate arriving in Dublin in good health and looking forward to some lamb. Joan doesn't like lamb though and I believe that's because she is Irish by marriage but after forty four years some osmosis has probably occurred. Obviously, not the lamb part.
We are looking at flying time of about nine hours. Horrors!! But we have books, about Ireland of course, cards-Joan's idea, and a couple of the cutest little pillows you have ever seen-not even risking rental fees. We are also planning on getting some serious sleep as we are arriving in the morning and want to have energy for a totally enjoyable day.
