Signs Of Summer

I went strolling outside my Crown Center office over lunch time today and saw a sight that warmed the cockles of my heart, if that's still where cockles are located. In the space where just a couple weeks ago wool-clad ice skaters circled, what will eventually be the Miller Lite Stage at the 2011 Kansas City Irish Fest is being constructed.

When I think about all the great music, dance and frivolity that will take place on that stage in just 150 days*, well the ol' cockles get positively molten. I should really see a doctor about that.

* The average gestation period for a goat. If you were wondering.
