Here's something I bet you didn't know. Before I went to How To Draw A Cartoon college, I went to real art school. Like painting, printmaking, art stuff like that. Beret, smock, clove cigarettes, the whole bit. Okay, not that last part. But the point being, I got art cred, homes. But in all my years of beret-wearing art culture, I don't think I've ever been as excited about a gallery opening as this one:

"A Package Deal: Art & Beer" The Label Art of Boulevard Brewing Company, will be on display at Missouri Bank, in the heart of the Crossroads Arts District, from May 6th through June 3rd, 2011. Boulevard's Creative Director, Payton Kelly, presents sketches and original illustrations used over the course of more than two decades of branding and packaging for Kansas City's Beer. First Friday opening, May 6th, featuring samples of Boulevard beers from 5:30 until 7:30 pm. Missouri Bank is located at 125 Southwest Boulevard, Kansas City, MO - (816) 881-8280
