Art In The Park Returns!

I'm declaring this Art Friday. The Brookside Art Fair starts tonight near the site of the late, great Brookside Irish Fest, so there's that. There's the news of that cool beer-art show I told you about (see below) and most importantly, there's this:
Calling All Artists - Art Show at the Fest is Now Taking Artist’s Submissions.
After a very successful first year, the Kansas City Irish Festival is happy to announce their second annual Art Show at the Fest addition to their celebration of Celtic pride. Artisans will be showcased in the beautiful tree-lined Washington Park, adjacent to Crown Center Square and in the heart of Kansas City’s burgeoning historical art district – the Crossroads. This year, the KC Irish Fest weekend corresponds with Kansas City’s First Fridays – the first Friday of each month when the Crossroads Community's art galleries, studios, and restaurants open their doors to showcase local and national artists.
This juried festival is open to all emerging and established artists. While we are looking to add to the cultural climate of a Celtic Festival, we are not limited to Celtic themed art. For more information or to apply as an artist, please visit Zapplication.com on line. Deadline to apply is June 1st.
So get your application in and get that art ready!
