Sunday night The Irish Center hosted a presentation by Dr. Tim Campbell, executive director of the Saint Patrick Centre in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland. Also presenting was Councillor Basil McCrea of the Northern Ireland Assembly, as well as our good friend Jane Anderson, executive director of the Milwaukee Irish Fest.
The Boards of KCIF and the Irish Center heard about the goals of the St. Patrick Centre, the programs it supports and the outreach program "Friends of St. Patrick".
You'll be hearing a lot more about our friends in Northern Ireland, as we work to build relationships, develop travel and educational programs and bring more cultural programs to Kansas City.
