"What the Ramones might have sounded like if they'd taken traditional Irish music as their starting point." That's how Pulse Magazine described today's band, The Prodigals.
Dave Fahy – guitar and vocals, Gregory Grene – accordion and vocals, Trifon Dimitrov – bass, and Chris Berry – drums take the line between rock and trad and erase it. They'll have you crying in your beer one minute and dancing in the aisles he next and be, as The New York Times put it "indelibly Irish" all the while. The Prodigals and the KC Irish Fest are just 176 days away.

Guess it will be a slow weekend at Paddy Reillys in NYC with their Friday and Satuday night bands here in KC.
