First of all, don't forget that Derek Warfield and his fine band are in town this coming Friday night at Mike's Tavern on 54th and Troost. Okay? We good? See you there? Now let's skip ahead a little. To Hooley Time. It's like Hammer Time only Ian Byrne doesn't wear those puffy trousers. At least he hasn't in the past, maybe this time.
Be that as it may, Hooley time approacheth and you better get your tickets pronto. You know the Hooley. It's the Elders' version of what a St. Patrick's Day celebration ought to be. Music, Irish dancing, frivolity, silliness...I'm not sure what else you could require. March 12th is the date, The Uptown Theater is the place. You know I used to go see Vincent Price monster movies at the Uptown for 75¢ a ticket when I was a wee boy. The Hooley costs only slightly more, reserved table seats are $45 and $37, general admission tickets will set you back $25. But for your dollar you get not only The mighty Elders, but also The Wires and The O’Riada-McCarty-Manning Academy dancers. Buy the aforementioned tickets online at The Uptown Theater box office or ticketmaster.com, or charge by phone by calling 1-800-745-3000.
General Admission tickets only are also available online at The Elders online store or at the following locations:
Browne's Market (KCMO) 816-561-0030
Celtic Ranch (Weston, MO) 816-640-2881
Irish Crystal Company (Overland Park, KS ) 913-341-4438
Sheehan's Irish Imports (KCMO) 816-561-4480
Doherty & Sullivan's (Lee's Summit, MO) 816-524-7151
So get those tickets, get Hoolied. More details at the Elders website, which is here.

Thinking of spending a good part of the week around St.Patrick's Day in Kansas City. Could you list the other cantrips, please, so I can do some planning?
