I've been in the Irish Fest biz for a long time as you know, so I get a lot of questions from people all over the world. But none more often than this one: "Where's your mom drinking tonight?"
Well, I'll tell you. Patty will be at Raglan Road for their new Irish Hoolie Happy Hour. Irish Fest alums The Three Dollar Band will be playing, the lovely Brigid Driscoll will be dancing, the $3 Boulevard pints and $4 selected wines will be flowing, menu items will be slashed to $6, and much frivolity will ensue. It all starts at 5:00 PM this very Friday at the Irish corner of 14th and Grand downtown.
So go. And if you see my mom dancing on the tables, for the love of God tell her to be careful.
