The Wire, And Down To It

Tomorrow's the day. Opening day of Irish Fest 2010. Where did that year go?

In the meantime, lots to do, which accounts for posting at this ongodly hour. A bunch of us will be down at the site all day today doing all those little set up things that turn Crown Center into an Irish oasis. On big thing on the list is getting set for tonight's kick off party at the home of the Midtown Irish since 1947, Kelly's Westport Inn. We hope to see you there. It's free and open to the public. Not only free, but you might actually turn a profit as we'll be giving away Irish Fest and Kelly's t-shirts, festival tickets, and more. And since we wouldn't think of having a party without music there's a fest preview with Evans and Doherty. You didn't hear it from me, but there might just be a few more of our players in attendance, too.

So listen, I'll get to work, you go eat your Froot Loops and we'll meet tonight at 8:00 at Kelly's, corner of Westport and Penn. Deal?
