The big Browne's Irish Street Faire is just a couple days away now and it should be a great party. It's also a great lead in to that most important holiday on Sunday, Father's Day. So here's what you do. At the Browne's street fair, stop by the KC Irish Fest tent. Talk to one of our lovely staffers about the opportunities available for Irish Fest weekend volunteers. Sign up for your shift or shifts. And we'll give you a 2009 KC Irish Fest volunteer t-shirt. That's right. You'll not only get a 2010 t-shirt when you arrive at Irish Fest to work your shift, but right there on the spot Saturday at Browne's, just for signing up you'll get last year's version. And what do you do with that? You give it to Dad for Father's Day! Win. Win.
Here's the thing though; supplies and sizes available will be limited, so you'll want to scoot over and see us as soon as you arrive. Otherwise you'll have to get the old man something that actually, you know, costs money. And that's just crazy.
See you at Browne's.
