Dancing Machine

If you've even wanted to connect with your inner Flatley or Butler (referring here to the great Irish dancer Jean Butler, not Jeeves, the somber British gent who opens your door and presses your ascots) then you're in luck. There's a new Irish dance school just about to launch here in Kansas City and enrollment in classes begins right now.

The Driscoll School Of Irish Dance will begin classes in the Irish Center at Union Station soon. Taught by the lovely, talented, award-winning and delightful dancer Brigid Driscoll, there are classes available to you whether you're a beginner or a champion, 5 years old or 105.

To find out more on how to enroll, visit the school's website, www.kcirishdance.com. And to see Brigid dance, head down to Raglan Road Irish Restaurant and Pub this Friday and/or Saturday nights and performing on stage with Pogey at Saturday's Browne's Irish Street Faire.
