Marching To A Nonexistent Drum

It's going to be a different sort of St. Patrick's Day for us Irish Festers. For the first time in our history we won't be marching in the big parade down Broadway. I know, shocking, right? But true. Instead, we've opted to actually see something of the parade other than the arses of the people in front of us and have procured one of those fancy watchin'-the-parade tents along what the parade people call "Cottage Row". So for this year, we'll be spectating. If you think about it, this fits right in with the theme of this year's parade, which is "Going Green in Kansas City". Think of the resources we're saving by not building a float. Why, the volume of beer bottles saved alone is enough to give the folks at the recycling plant the day off.

So don't look for us in the parade but those of you marching, do turn and salute as you go by. No mooning, please.
