Happy Monday, if that's not an oxymoron. If you need a little pick me up, as I do (the Bailey's I poured on my bowl of Lucky Charms doesn't seem to be doing the trick today), then perhaps news of another Irish Fest preview will help.
Tomorrow night...that would be Tuesday the 9th, Mairtin de Cogain and Jimmy Crowley–better known as Captain Mackey's Goatskin and String Band–will perform at Eddie Delahunt's Cafe &, 45th and Bell Streets. The show is at 7:30 PM, more or less. If you haven't seen this band and their show, don't miss this. It's funny, it's sentimental, it's educational, it's heart wrenching, it's rousing, it's as close to Ireland as you're going to get this week. So, you know, get over there.
Call Edwardo De La Hunt at the Cafe for more information, (816) 753 3322.
