As we limp toward March, the time is right now to start planning your St. Patrick's Day. Raglan Road Irish Restaurant and Pub, downtown at 14th and Grand and home of our official Irish Fest after parties, has so much going on that you may want to just go down there now and stay.
Beginning this Friday, and including another in their hugely successful and incredibly delicious Signature Dinners with chef Kevin Dundon on March 16th (more on that later), Raglan has you covered all holiday season long. The St. Patrick's Day schedule:
Open at 8:00am for traditional Irish breakfast, served until 11:00 AM.

• Noon – 1:00pm: U2 tribute band Elevation
• 1:15pm – 1:30pm: Irish dancing featuring Bridgid Driscoll
• 1:30pm – 2:30pm: Elevation
• 2:45pm – 3:00pm: Irish dancing w Bridgid
• 3:00pm – 4:00pm: Elevation
• 4:15pm – 4:30pm: Irish dancing w Bridgid
• 4:30pm – 5:30pm: Elevation
• 5:45pm – 6:00pm: Irish dancing w Bridgid
• 6:00pm – 7:00pm: “So You Think You Can Riverdance” competition. $1000 first prize!
• 7:00pm – 8:00pm: Connacht Town
• 8:15pm – 8:30pm: Irish dancing w Bridgid
• 8:30pm – 9:30pm: Connacht Town
• 9:45pm – 10:00pm: Irish dancing w Bridgid
• 10:00pm – 11:00pm: Connacht Town
• 11:30pm – 12:30am: Connacht Town
Ride the free shuttle to and from the parade, 10:00am – 4:00pm.
I bet that item at 6:00 caught your eye, didn't it, you Flately you? Here's the scoop. First, watch this and get yourself inspired. Then come show your stuff at one of the preliminary trials at the pub, Friday February 26th and Friday March 5th, 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Jig what your mama gave you at those trials and qualify for the finals. Then Riverdance your way to a cool grand.Second and third place prizes will be awarded as well.
Squeeze some parade watching in there and you've got a hell of a St. Patrick's Day. See you there.
