Friday! I promised you a big announcement today, and a big announcement you shall have. This year at the Kansas City Irish Fest we are so pleased to announce that we're adding a 6th performance stage. Tentatively planned to be located in the grass and shade of the western side of Washington Square Park, our new venue will provide us with the perfect place to present smaller, more intimate acoustic acts in a kind of cozy bistro setting. Tented, shady and cool, it's going to be a place you'll want to spend a good chunk of your Irish Fest weekend.
The inaugural acts for the new, as yet unnamed stage are being booked now and you're going to love it. And speaking of that unnamed status, if you've been waiting for that perfect upper level sponsor opportunity, this may be it. Contact Keli to discuss. They rejected my idea to call it the Uncle Bloggy Stage.
Announcing is fun. Let's have a band announcement or two later this afternoon, shall we?

Sounds nice, Dan. The acoustics in the Atrium leave a lot to be desired, and it sounds as if y'all will have the sort of acts at this new stage that have played the Atrium in the past.
What stage will Fuchsia be playing?(fingers crossed!)
